Hey friend! My name is Isabel
And I am so glad you're here:)
I am a Virginia-based wedding and elopement photographer with a love for travel who is passionate about capturing honest, authentic, intentional wedding imagery that embodies YOUR story.
Proudly raised in Virginia Beach as the daughter of a Colombian mom and American father who loved to travel, my story of photography begins with a simple point-and-shoot Sony camera that my mom let me borrow to photograph my family's memories on our travels.
Fast-forward to my freshman year of undergraduate school, I had an incredible roommate my freshman year, and I knew she was going to get engaged over Christmas break. To celebrate my dear friend stepping into this exciting new chapter, I wanted to gift her something meaningful. So, on Black Friday of my freshman year, I bought my first DSLR camera. I had the honor of gifting my roommate and her fiance engagement photos, and since then, I have had the absolute joy of capturing so many love stories across the globe.

A peek into my life..
One of my favorite joys in life is truly to know others and their stories. Every time I meet a new couple, I am always just so blown away by how beautifully and intentionally written their love story is.
For me, is more than just a word.
It's an action.
A commitment.
A calling.
A joy.
I believe the love that shines through the love stories I have the honor of capturing points to a greater love that Christ has for His beloved creation.

Tenderly holding your unforgettable moments of one of the best chapters of your life, my mission as your wedding photographer is not only to freeze your memories in time, but to also simply love you and celebrate with you as you embark on this new adventure.
When, I am not behind the camera doing what I love, I can be found savoring some of my other joys of life! I love spending quality time with my people- my family and friends who make my life richer. As a lover of all things travel and adventure, I am always down for a good adventure! I have been to four continents and have gone skydiving, scuba diving, and caving (you HAVE to give them all a try;)! You can always catch me ordering a chai or vanilla latte at a local coffee shop or cozying up with a good book with a warm candle nearby.
